Fastuca Fest 2019 – 5th Raffadali Pistachio Festival, September 2019

After the success of previous editions, Fastucafest consolidates its position among the most anticipated events in Western Sicily in September, bringing together a multitude of visitors and attracting tourists curious about the crops visible from the Valley of the Temples.

It’s an event to discover, a unique celebration with contagious energy that celebrates and promotes the Raffadali pistachio, representing a showcase for companies operating in the agri-food and food sectors.

On the third weekend of September, for three days the historic center of the town is transformed into a stage where food, music, and art create an evocative atmosphere.

The Path of Taste, with its urban art installation, attracts thousands of visitors, while the food space is enriched with themed workshops, tastings, wine tastings, and cooking demonstrations.

This year’s installation, conceived by the creative mind of architect Laura Galvano, showcases her inventiveness by creating a fairytale setting: a sky of cornucopias from which brilliant ripe pistachios emerge, a sign of prosperity and abundance.

Thousands of visitors filled the streets of Raffadali, surpassing previous editions’ record, bringing every corner of this small village known for its green gold to life. Over the years, the project to achieve DOP certification has been painstakingly worked on, and a widespread event has been developed. Over the years, the event has gained ever-increasing popularity, spanning three days of color, flavor, and sound, eagerly awaited throughout Sicily and beyond.
