The RaiNews cameras celebrate the area’s excellence, focusing on the delicious products obtained from the processing of Raffadali pistachios and Diodoros almonds from the Valley of the Temples Archaeological and Landscape Park.
At Casa Barbadoro, in the heart of the Valley, a rich and delicious basket was presented to the “Mordi e Fuggi” camera, including Raffadali pistachio husks, almond husks from the Valley, and Favara Easter lamb. Other significant and evocative stops for the Rai crew included the one where chef Filippo La Mantia, the exceptional ambassador for the Mandorlara festival, prepared the “spring dish,” and the one inside the Monastery of Santo Spirito, where the cloistered nuns showed off their renowned pastry art. The Rai News city tour obviously included the Doric columns and the Kolymbetra garden.
